The relatively young vineyard district of Leyda is making a name for itself as a great terroir for white wines, as its proximity to the ocean (Costero's vineyards are only around 14 km inland) provides the excellent temperature moderation essential for freshness of fruit. Elegant and mineral tinged, with the intense gooseberry and nettle aromas delivered with remarkable restraint for a Chilean Sauvignon. Pleasantly complex, with citrus flavous accented by herb notes. A natural partner for fresh fish of all kinds.
