From the stable of renowned winemaking former rugby player Gerard Bertrand, this is a clasically-styled Languedoc red, hailing from the clay and limestone terraces around Narbonne. Hand-picked, destemmed and fermented at controlled temperatures for great fruit purity. A well-structured middleweight red, offering a supple blend of cassis and mulberry fruit, nuanced on the nose by notes of wild thyme and leathery spice, and softened by a hint of French oak. Allow to breathe and serve at room temperature with slow-cooked beef or lamb dishes.
