    Rarely seen as a single-varietal wine, Mourvedre is known for its slightly rustic feel and dense, muscular tannin that produces wines with firm structure and good ageing potential. This fruitier modern example is aged in American oak for 6 months. Round and generous, this purple-tinged red wine is abundant with blackberry fruit on nose and palate. Hints of pudding spices add depth to the ripe fruit, while plentiful tannins provide a grippy finish. Best served with grilled lamb or richly flavoured Mediterranean dishes.
