The 300 year old Port House of Taylor's, based in Oporto on the Atlantic coast, one of the greatest names of Port. Produced from one vintage, from the same constituent wines as the Vintage, Late Bottled Vintage is aged for 4 - 6 years in cask and released ready to drink. Dark fruits and beetroot notes with spicy undertones and hints of violets on the nose, with powerful tannins, firm acidity and rich, concentrated red and black fruits. A long finish of spice and fruit. Drinking well now but will be fine with another couple of years' ageing. Partner with cheese or as an after dinner treat.
