A wonderfully bold departure from intense single-varietal unoaked Sauvignons, Cape Crest barrel-ferment theirs with the addition of small amounts of Semillon and Sauvignon Gris. Straddling the divide between typical New Zealand Sauvignon and classic white Bordeaux, this wine is creamy and complex, with blossom and toast notes embellishing the backdrop of citrus and guava-like fruit. Superb with seafood or poultry.
