Torres have vineyards in as diverse places as California, Chile and are even involved in China, but their heartland is Catalunya in Spain. They have produced great wines from their winery in Vilafranca del Penedès since 1870, like Sangre de Toro, meaning 'bull's blood'. Deep ruby coloured, rich complex aromas with notes of spice, packed with blackberry fruits and elegant flavours of liquorice on the palate and a smooth finish. Superb with roasts, game, casseroles and mediterranean meat dishes.
