Predominantly Auxerrois (as Malbec is known in its historic heartland of Cahors), plus Merlot and Tannat. These were vinified separately and then blended together and aged for 9 months in old oak. Lots of ripe, black fruit with the Merlot rounding out the tannins to give a softer, more approachable appeal. Best served with grilled meats or cheese.
