The wines of La Mancha follow the style of Rioja but for a fraction of the price. 100% Tempranillo with 30 months' ageing in American oak barrels, followed by a further couple of years in bottle before release to create a mature, ready-for-drinking style. A complex nose shows bramble and cherry fruit blending with vanilla. Velvety smooth in texture, displaying dried red fruits and a subtle spiciness. Superb with tomato pasta dishes and paella.
