This red is made from a selection of traditional red Dão varieties, sourced both at Sogrape’s Quinta dos Carvalhais Estate and from private quality vineyards. A small part of the final blend spends 12 months in oak. On the palate the wine is vibrant with smooth tannins and generous weight, balanced by lively acidity and ripe red fruit flavours. A good choice with all manner of meats including game and poultry.
