A blend of Syrah and Grenache is one which typifies the southern French style of reds. This example is made from grapes sourced from quality growers in the Languedoc by Alain Grignon's winemaking team, and fermented without oak for natural fruit flavours. Blackberry and loganberry aromas predominate on both the nose and palate. The fruit is lithe and lush, delivered with a satisfying blend of well-weighted tannins and a hint of peppery spice. A great everyday red, ideal with pasta dishes, or with a tasty sausage casserole.
