    This wine comes mainly from the vineyards in the south of the Beaujolais region, close to Villefranche-sur-Saône. The vines' yields are naturally limited by the dense planting here, on chalky, granitic soils. Ruby red with purple tints. Aromatic and lively on the nose, this is a fresh and easy-drinking wine, with a summer fruit character of strawberry and raspberry and light, supple tannins. Serve cool, ideally around 11-13 ºC, with a cold meat salad.
